Young Clancy Releases Dreamy Singles "Saucy" + "OOH AAH"
Young Clancy has collaborated with fellow Candian artists Adrian Dey and Jahmal Padmore to bring us his latest tracks “Saucy” and “OOH AAH”.
Even though both songs are under two minutes long, Clancy still manages to transport us to magical soundscapes with his production skills.
“Saucy” sticks to Young Clancy’s usual style that's come to be known as ‘rough, pillowy music’. It has an irresistible bounce and catchy lyrics, courtesy of Ontario native rapper Adrien Dey.
“Really happy to have discovered Adrian's music this year,” said Young Clancy. “He has so much great music out and not yet out. I wasn't able to meet him until well after the track was finished. Great man. We shot the video at his studio in Brampton.”
On the flip side, “OOH AAH” is more of a smooth listen. Adorned by Jahmal Padmore’s soulful voice, the lyrics and dreamy production make this song feel like floating on a cloud.
“Jahmal is a Toronto legend,” said Young Clancy. “So happy to have him on this project. Really talented person. I love the song we made. A lot of depth and soul to his performance.”
Clancy’s upcoming project promises to deliver more of these miniature masterpieces, further showcasing his ability to work with multiple genres and exposing the world to more of the talent found in Toronto. We can't wait to see where the talented producer takes us next!
