Bedroom pop powerhouse producer Michael (Mikey) Rodriguez, proficiently known as yung sum, has treated us once again to an original piece that he wrote, produced, performed, mixed, and mastered all by himself: “people think i’m okay, i’m not”.

"I wrote this song because I was going through a difficult time, struggling with depression and anxiety, and just not feeling like I was worth it for anyone,” said yung sum. “This song isn't supposed to be "eyes on me," but more of a message of acknowledging that it's okay to not be okay. The writing was pretty fun though, I just came up with an idea and main melody, and thought it was a perfect medium to share true beliefs, while maintaining a high energy, "banger" feel.”
