The Glorious Sons Release Two New Singles “Daylight” and “Young King”
Canadian rock band The Glorious Sons have returned to continue redefining the borders of modern rock with their new singles “Daylight” and “Young King.”
Released on the 19th, “Daylight” is a high energy track that’s powered by rugged vocals and an intense instrumentation that incites a full body experience. With this song, the band went into it with the idea of making it sound as energized as possible instead of focusing too much on organization. It captures the energy of a live performance perfectly; especially in a time like this where so many of us have been missing them.
“Young King” is on the same frequency as “Daylight”. The electric guitar packs a punch and paired with empowering vocals, this track oozes confidence. The Glorious Sons aims to share their fierceness with their audience and awaken the spirit of rock within them.
“The best way I have to describe these songs is that they’re alive. When I listen to them I want to drive faster in my car, and that’s essentially all we were trying to do,” said vocalist Brett Emmons. “They are by far the closest representation to how the band feels performing a set in a club. The hope is to catch anyone who thinks they know who we are and teach them a stern and rowdy lesson.”
The Candian rock band continues to impress us with their ability to take rock’s root influences and add modern touches. With these releases, it’s clear that there’s no way they can be torn down. They’ve been on a roll for a decade and they won’t be stopping anytime soon.
