MAX Makes Us Crave The Weekend With Funky New Track
Since breaking out as a solo star in 2016, MAX has been chasing career high after career high. For the New York-born singer, 2020 has seen a continuation of success, and with his forthcoming sophomore album Colour Vision, it’s clear that MAX doesn’t plan on changing that.
His latest single, “Working for the Weekend,” is solid proof of his star-power. The highly addictive pop tune follows in the footsteps of its predecessors from the album, signalling a new path for MAX as he explores a brighter, funkier sound for the next chapter of his solo career. The tune feels reminiscent of his work in Party Pupils, his side project with RyanEXOE, and it’s certainly a welcome new direction.
On his new album, MAX says:
“What people loved about ‘Lights Down Low’ was the story – I’d never been more honest,” said MAX. “I only scratched the surface on Hell’s Kitchen Angel though. I’m taking even more risks on my next album, Colour Vision. I want to be as authentic as possible whether it is about losing people in my life or just who I am as a person.”
We can’t wait to hear what MAX has in store for us this year, and if this track is any indication, we are simply way too excited!
