Justin Bieber Fans Assemble: OXLEE is Your New Obsession

Justin Bieber Fans Assemble: OXLEE is Your New Obsession

We’re only a little embarrassed to admit that we had a pretty big Justin Bieber obsession back in the day, and we don’t think about it much anymore… Until an artist like OXLEE comes along. Remember how your teenage heart beat faster when you heard JB’s album Journals for the first time? Be prepared to feel the same listening to young gun OXLEE’s latest single “Traction”.

Smooth, groovy, catchy and melodic, this track really hits the R’n’B-pop spot, and it’s just a total banger. OXLEE’s easy-flowing vocals really anchor the song, and the multiple groovy synth layers make it absolutely addictive. At only 2 minutes long, you’re going to want to pop this one on repeat for sure.

Developing his passion for music at just 10 years old, OXLEE is a multi-instrumentalist and a talented songwriter. Delving into the realms of soul, alternative pop, and R’n’B, the young artist performed for several years before the release of his debut single “I Wouldn’t Change”. Emerging as a fully formed solo artist, he quickly found a devoted fan-base, gaining 10k followers on Instagram, and began developing his sound by collaborating with producers and other artists across Australia and New Zealand.

After a successful showcase at the 2019 BIGSOUND conference in Brisbane, OXLEE quickly booked his first show in Sydney and a performance at Studio 301 networking event. His most recent single “I Don’t Get You”, released in July, has been praised on triple j Unearthed and received 20’000 views on YouTube in just one short month.

Now working towards an album release and with a list of announcements on the horizon, OXLEE is a fresh face to be kept on your radar.
