Jordan Laser Releases Brooding Siren Song “100 Days Of Solitude”
Sydney’s songstress Jordan Laser is back with her second single of this year, “100 Days Of Solitude.” She hypnotises us by including an acoustic guitar that pairs perfectly with her ethereal vocals to tell us a story. In the music video she finds herself alone in a mansion; a reflection of her current emotional state. Using her songwriting and creative vision, she’s put together an audiovisual experience for her listeners.
“I wrote ‘100 Days of Solitude’ during lockdown last year. I was drinking too much, living on my own and in love with a man who’d just disappeared on me. I had this creeping realisation that he wasn’t who he said he was, which proved to be true. So this song is about trying to find hope in a hopeless situation, and coming out with a little more stamina on the other side,” said Jordan Laser.
Jordan leaves listeners truly entranced by her lyrical storytelling and pure emotions. “100 Days Of Solitude” follows Jordan’s recent tracks “Slow Motion” and “Battleship.” Both tracks captures Jordans signature sound in the confines of indie-pop ballads with a haunting edge, brooding soundscapes, and vocals to kill.
This track is a beautiful addition to Jordan’s unique artistry, cementing her place as an indie-pop siren!
