Bec Stevens' Newest Single "Big Worry" Tells A Deep Message!
Bec Stevens has released her newest single “Big Worry” and has simultaneously described the overwhelming feeling of having imposter syndrome in today’s society. With no time to think, the song grabs your attention by launching into a jam fueled by powerful drums and energetic guitar chords.
Speaking on the track, Bec says, “Big Worry is about trying to exist with imposter syndrome, anxiety and all the fun symptoms that blur between. I wrote this song when I was having a big moment of reflection, not the type that makes you feel better, the type that makes you laugh (probably aloud if you are anything like me) and say to yourself, “who the HELL do I think i am? A functioning member of society? Nice try, Bec!”
As well as the track drop, Bec Stevens has also dropped a music video directed by both Nick Manuell & Bec Steven. She describes “Me and Nick started brainstorming ideas for this clip early 2021 and it just kept evolving in my brain. I could visualize it so clearly when I listened to the song and I'm so grateful for Nick for bringing my chaotic ideas to life.I loved the idea of it being absolute mayhem and a rollercoaster of emotions because nothing encapsulated me more. And we love a happy ending!”
What is a Big Worry? Bec proposes the scenario, “What happens when your wedding is invaded by flesh eating zombies that leave you the only survivor? Do you fight off your loved ones with a handmade Hell Hammer? Or do you let them have you? Sounds like you’ve got a Big Worry to me.”
