Bec Stevens' Album BIG WORRY is a Captivating Journey Through Life's Struggles

BIG WORRY, the new album by Tasmanian-born, Melbourne-based singer-songwriter Bec Stevens is an emotive and deeply personal journey through her struggles and experiences over the past decade. With the help of co-producers Jonathon Tooke and Ben Stewart, Stevens has created a raw and honest album that showcases her remarkable songwriting abilities. The album was introduced to fans with the release of the title track, which captures the feeling of imposter syndrome in today's society and was followed by "A Stranger", a driving alt-rock track that deals with the aftermath of a failed relationship.

Throughout the album, Stevens addresses topics such as trauma, navigating love with a broken heart, and the difficulties of existing in a world that may not understand your struggles. The album's emotional peak is "James' Song", written by the late James McKenzie, a close friend of Stevens. She recorded the song with the help of Tyler Richardson and James’ brother Marcus, along with a choir of Stevens' friends who lend their vocal harmonies to the track.

In its essence, BIG WORRY is a cathartic exorcism of demons, a protest against the world and those who maintain the status quo within it. However, these personal songs also carry a universal resonance, making the album both captivating and devastating.

BIG WORRY is a beautifully raw and honest album that will leave a lasting impression on fans and newcomers alike.
