AURORA Is gracing us with her new album “The Gods We Can Touch”
We are currently obsessing over AURORA’s third album! The Gods We Can Touch is a graceful album that fully showcases the talent of the angelic warrior we know as AURORA. The album embodies all things beautiful, ethereal and celestial, which is basically Aurora in a nutshell. The versatility of this queen is unmatched and it really shows in The Gods We Can Touch.
Needing no introduction, AURORA is one of a kind! From her unique character to her divine vocals, she takes you on a beautiful journey when listening to any one of her tracks. The beautifully eccentric AURORA constantly blesses us with her talent and The Gods We Can Touch is no exception.
Speaking on the album, AURORA says “Sometimes I feel like the whole world Is trying to convince you something is wrong with you. And sadly often people believe this to be true,”. She continues “It is very scary how easy it is for someone to convince you that you are wrong. Or that you are overly emotional, too strange, and not good enough. And I think it’s about time we shut those voices out. Because in no way should anyone convince you that you are not worthy because of the way you look, or act, believe in or love. We should be allowed to be human. And we don’t need a cure for it.”
This album truly showcases her versatility as an artist more than ever before, The Gods We Can Touch features a vast range of unpredictable and different musical influences including 80’s synth pop and folk-pop with dark lyrics, resulting in a complete work of art.
AURORA has proven herself to be a triple threat; a singer, songwriter and producer, since bursting onto the scene in 2015 with her debut EP, Running With The Wolves. Since then, AURORA has amassed over 20 million monthly listeners on Spotify, racked up a whopping 2.6 billion overall streams and 1 million+ global album sales.
At 23 years young, AURORA has claimed some of the most unimaginable achievements. With over one billion streams and five million followers under her belt, it is clear that she has the world in the palms of her hands!
