Turn It Up: DÉ SAINT Releases Feel Good Track “Fever”
With a belt full of experience behind her, it's a wonder that it has taken Queensland’s electro-pop DJ DÉ SAINT. this long to release her debut single “Fever”.
Since beginning her music career in 2013, where she was focussed on singing and songwriting, DÉ SAINT. has worked internationally alongside DJ’s at gigs and house parties, which consequently turned her attention to the electronic side of music. With her return to Australia DÉ SAINT. had captured the attention of some of the biggest companies in the world including Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Google, Vogue, Rolex, YouTube, Maserati, Moet and many more. Adding to the list of things that we all dream of but DÉ SAINT has so humbly achieved is working alongside some of the biggest stars in music Groove Armada, Pnau, Flume, Mark Jefferson, Flight Facilities, Kid Ink, Sean Paul, Vera Blue, Ruel, Thandi Phoenix, Wafie, Running Touch, Client Liaison, Tina Arena and Kate Cebrano… just to name a few.
Since working tirelessly over the years to create her own sound in the electronic music space, DÉ SAINT. has determined a style that is electro, dance, dub, jazz and funk all at the same time.
Like no fever dream, “Fever” is a sweet rush of energy that will keep the blood pumping. This track belongs in the dim-lit club basements on a Saturday night, or the heavily tread upon dust fields of a festival. Add it to your pump up playlist, because “Fever” is a slow building, bass heavy bop, complete with twisted, re-edited and layered soul vocals.
“Fever” is a hint of DÉ SAINT’s upcoming body of work “Girl DJ” which features collaborations with some of Australia’s finest musicians including members of Bam-boos, The Cat Empire and The Raah Project.
We’ll stay tuned for this one.
