Tommy Harris Pulls At Our Heartstrings With “Florence”

Tommy Harris delivers again with his heartfelt and vibrant latest track, “Florence”. 

The Melbourne native has been surrounded by music for most of his life. Influenced by his father’s guitar playing, he began to explore other instruments. Tommy learned at a young age to use music as a form of self expression. This time around taking all of the emotions and frustrations that come with heartbreak and turning them into an upbeat track that listeners can relate to and enjoy playing time and time again. His strategic combination of organic instruments and electronic components make this a catchy tune that music lovers of various genres can enjoy. 

“Florence” explores the conflicting feelings of wanting to move on from a relationship while being stuck reliving the happier moments that made it special and yearning for the person you’re far away from. It was written following the end of Tommy’s 4 year relationship. Serving as his own songwriter and producer, he drew inspiration from that complex time.

It’s expected that the song an artist creates following a painful event has a sadder tone, but Harris has a refreshing take that’s rarely seen in the industry.
