Party In The Paddock (PITP) is back and bigger than ever, promising an unforgettable weekend of music, art, and adventure! Taking place from February 6th to 9th, 2025, at the iconic Quercus Park on the picturesque tilapangka/Liffey River in Tasmania, this year’s edition will feature a stellar lineup of both international and local artists across six stages. Prepare to witness one of Tasmania’s most anticipated music festivals in history, celebrating its evolution from a grassroots event to a multi-day spectacle.
Leading the charge are headliners Empire Of The Sun, AURORA, and the always-anticipated SECRET HEADLINER. Empire Of The Sun, known for their mind-bending, futuristic performances and synth-pop anthems like "Walking on a Dream" and "We Are the People," will be delivering their iconic blend of music and visual art in what promises to be a show-stopping performance. Meanwhile, Norwegian indie-pop sensation AURORA will enchant festival-goers with her ethereal vocals and emotionally charged music, creating a spellbinding atmosphere with hits like "Runaway" and "Cure For Me."
Keeping fans on edge is the mysterious SECRET HEADLINER, a signature move by PITP. Known for thrilling last-minute reveals, previous surprises like The Veronicas and DMA’s have electrified the crowd in past years. Who will it be this year? The only way to find out is to be there when the lights go up!
The 2025 lineup boasts an incredible mix of genres. Expect explosive punk-rock energy from Amyl & The Sniffers, led by the unstoppable Amy Taylor, bringing their unrelenting sound and raw performances. Role Model, the rising pop sensation from the USA, will share his heartfelt, catchy tunes, while Australia’s beloved Angie McMahon will serenade with her introspective indie-rock. Meanwhile, Still Woozy will deliver smooth, genre-blurring grooves, and Thelma Plum will captivate with her blend of indie-folk and pop.
The eclectic lineup continues with the Yolŋu surf-rock band King Stingray, bringing their powerful fusion of Indigenous music and modern rock, alongside Slowly Slowly, whose heartfelt punk sound will ignite the crowd. Hip-hop meets pop with Allday, delivering his genre-bending set, while Medium Build and KiNG MALA from the USA, as well as Australia's Teen Jesus & The Jean Teasers and Boo Seeka, add even more diversity to this incredible bill.
But PITP is more than just music. Festival-goers will enjoy an immersive experience filled with art installations, comedy performances, drag shows, live podcasts, artist interviews, cabaret, and more. Relax at yoga sessions, ride a mechanical bull, or check out the skate ramp. Don’t forget to explore the pop-up markets featuring fresh Tassie produce, as well as the beloved Vibestown Arena, The Bigtop Dance Tent, Silvertongue Stage, The Bullpen, and PITP's newest stage, Little Island Rising—ensuring non-stop entertainment across all corners of the festival.
