Glass Tides' New Single "Waste" Hits the Spot... Hard
Adelaide metalcore five-piece Glass Tides, dropped their newest single “Waste” a few weeks ago.
Featuring raw, melodic vocals and electrifying guitar riffs, you can hear the band’s inspiration from sounds of Bring Me The Horizon and The Used by capturing brooding undertones and angsty vibes to produce such an anthem. Having already released a single in August 2019 “Crawling”, and now new single “Waste” are a tasteful insight into what can be expected from their full-length album set to be released on 17th January 2020.
The new single was accompanied by a dark yet thrilling music lyric video, filled with lightning and storms to capture the energy of metalcore. The video also compliments their angsty lyrics, which the band states “We have all been screwed over in some way or another, “Waste” is our way of chucking the middle finger up & saying catch ya later”.
Since the band’s remarkable previous EPs, Thoughts (2017) and My Descence (2018), Glass Tides have wasted no time in establishing themselves and showcasing their unique integration of post-hardcore and metalcore nationwide, and have found themselves supporting bands such as Thrice, Circa Survive, Spiderbait, Body Jar, Young Lions and more. We are so pumped for their new album, coming out next year… In the mean time, “Waste” is available to stream and purchase on all platforms now.
