E^ST's Biggest Pop Moment Yet: Anthemic Ode to Life "I WANNA BE HERE"
We are delighted to introduce you to the mighty new pop anthem released by E^ST. As the final reveal before her debut album, “I’M DOING IT”, the talented young artist has revealed “I WANNA BE HERE”, produced by Jim Eliot (Halsey, Ellie Goulding, Kylie Minogue).
“I WANNA BE HERE” is a gorgeously indie-pop piece that starts off with a gentle piano harmony and then transitions smoothly to a captivating and filled with emotion voice line encapsulated in strong lyrics.
“I wrote this song at a really difficult time in my life, and it's almost like I wrote the song that I needed to hear,” said E^ST. “This song is about realising that just because life feels impossible, that doesn't mean that it is impossible... And that as long as you're trying something, there's always hope.”
E^ST has supported the likes of Panic! At The Disco and Twenty One Pilots on tour, as well as becoming an in-demand writer for other artists, from Noah Cyrus to Nicole Millar. 2020 has seen her feature on Sydney-based hip hop artist Kwame’s single “Nobody”, as well as support The 1975 frontman Matty Healy’s acoustic set at Sydney’s Metro Theatre alongside Ruel, Mansionair, and KUČKA.
With over 60 million streams to her name before her debut album arrives, including her Triple J Like A Version raking in 2.5 million views, E^ST has cemented her position at the forefront of Australia’s alt-pop scene.
