The Beards Are Back
After nearly a decade of hibernation, Australia’s legendary propaganda rockers The Beards are making their long-awaited return! Famous for their unwavering dedication to one topic—beards—this South Australian four-piece is reuniting for an exclusive, limited-run tour across select capital cities this August and September.
From their inception in 2005, The Beards sparked a global beard revolution, captivating audiences with their musicianship, razor-sharp humour, and raucously interactive live shows. With four albums of beard-themed anthems, multiple sold-out international tours, two ARIA Award nominations, and even a performance at the World Beard and Moustache Championships, the band cemented themselves as the world's premier beard-related rock act. Their 2016 farewell tour left fans beardless with grief—but now, they’re back, furrier and fiercer than ever.
Frontman Johann Beardraven explains the long-overdue return: “We thought we'd said all we had to say about beards… but after nearly ten years, we realized we hadn’t even scratched the surface.”
The Beards’ triumphant comeback tour features their signature dynamic pricing model: bearded fans pay less, beardless fans pay more. (“If it were up to us, they wouldn’t be allowed in at all,” says bassist Nathaniel Beard.)
With iconic tracks like No Beard No Good, You Should Consider Having Sex with a Bearded Man, and If Your Dad Doesn’t Have a Beard, You’ve Got Two Mums, these unmissable shows will bring back the wild, bewhiskered energy fans have been craving.
