Indie Powerhouse Lexicon H Releases Debut Single “Get Dizzy”
Here to make himself known with an epic debut single “Get Dizzy” is Sydney’s multi-talented Lexicon H. A man of many, many, many talents, Harry Alexiadis, the face behind the pseudonymous name is a multi-instrumentalist, engineer, composer and producer, doing all of the work for himself.
Touching on a deeper, introverted topic “Get Dizzy” questions the ignorant nature of youth, how confusion and self-interest react with our personal choices to form our identity and broader aspects of life. Meanwhile, the track is a fun alternative dance bop, with soundscapes reminiscent of the indie gods of the early 2000s like The Shins and Vampire Weekend.
“Get Dizzy was the amalgamation of a bunch of influences colliding at a crossroads.” said Harry. “Tinkering with newly acquired guitar hardware and software I combined my songwriting and production knowledge, with influences coming from Rock, Pop and European Hip-Hop/ Rap. I composed a spread of harmony between instruments to add a multitude of layers with some pop sensibility to create Get Dizzy.”
An exceedingly polished musician in all aspects of the word, Lexicon H made the decision to leave his band and go solo with his breakout single “Get Dizzy.” Adopting the do-it-yourself philosophy, Harry works completely independently as a solo artist, pursuing a rather introspective recording and production process, performing and programming all instruments/voices himself before mixing and mastering the track. The result is an incredibly distinctive personal experience with no boundaries or others to answer to, which in turn fashions Lexicon H’s unique sound.
This single signifies the beautiful new beginning for Lexicon H as he explores his newfound artistic freedom; released from the lack of control within the walls of a band. We can’t wait to see what he has in store for us.
