BRENT FAIYAZ RELEASES HIGHLY ANTICIPATED NEW ALBUM WASTELAND

GRAMMY Award-winning singer and producer Brent Faiyaz releases his highly anticipated new album Wasteland via Lost Kids. The album includes previously released smash singles featuring Drake and Tyler, The Creator, as well as “Price Of Fame” which dropped last week and sets the tone for the album’s exploration of the juxtaposition between wealth and poverty, and the ways in which fame leads to reckless behaviour. The album also contains standout features from Alicia Keys, Raphael Saadiq, and Tre Amani, with string arrangements and production on several tracks by Jordan Waré, and additional contributions from The Dream. The album is executive produced by Jonathan “Freeze” Wells.

Faiyaz recently capped a stratospheric 2021 that saw him additionally collaborate with the likes of Baby Keem, Meek Mill and Tems, release smash solo tracks, and surpass 8.5 BILLION streams for his catalogue that includes 2 Certified Platinum and 5 Certified Gold singles. In 2016, Faiyaz formed his own independent record label, Lost Kids and released his Fuck The World EP in 2020, which debuted at #20 on the Billboard 200 charts. To give back to his fans he started the annual Show U Off Grant Program for Black women entrepreneurs last year and celebrated the 4th annual Lost Kids Benefit in support of youths in his hometown of Baltimore, MD. Faiyaz recently starred in campaigns for Kendrick Lamar's pgLang for Calvin Klein and Reebok, wearing his forthcoming line NUWO (Not Unless We Own) in the latter.
