The River Keeps Flowing With AURORA'S Eerie and Ethereal New Video
Norwegian electro-pop artist AURORA has revealed yet another stunning music video via Glassnote Records/ Kobalt. The stunning visuals showcase AURORA’s unparalleled connection to the natural world.
Following up the poignant and timely video for her second single, “The Seed”, which depicted the current youth protests around the globe for climate change awareness, this new video highlights AURORA’s care for the environment in an entirely different way. Through the visually arresting metaphor of the earth and its plants growing out from within her body, and her continual struggles to be rid of such growth, AURORA makes comment on humanity’s connection to the land and their wish to disconnect from it, in favour of abusing it for their own gain.
After an enormously successful year so far - which has seen her first single “Animal” achieve high rotation on Triple J, and her second single “The Seed” amass close to 2 million streams on Spotify since its release in April - this third single sees AURORA gearing up for the release of her third full album, A Different Kind of Human (Step II), in June. Australian fans have recently had the chance to see the rising star perform live, with AURORA being included in the lineup for this year’s annual regional touring festival Groovin’ The Moo. AURORA also played sideshows at renowned venues in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane.
“The River” is available on all platforms now.
